Overview
Pilot Math is developed by Marko Jurca. This policy explains how the app handles your data. All game progress, scores and settings are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to any server.
Data We Collect
Pilot Math does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data is stored locally on your device:
- Quiz scores and session history
- Badge progress and earn dates
- Settings and preferences
- Daily streak counts
- Practice statistics per game type
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer.
Subscriptions
Pilot Math offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) to unlock full access. Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
To manage or cancel your subscription:
- iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Pilot Math
Analytics and Tracking
Rules of Thumb does not use any of the following:
- Analytics tools (no Firebase, Mixpanel or similar)
- Advertising networks or ad tracking
- Third party tracking SDKs
- Crash reporting services
Notifications
The app may send local notifications as part of the Master Plus Challenge feature. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication. You can disable notifications at any time in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Pilot Math.
Children's Privacy
Rules of Thumb does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is designed for student and qualified pilots and contains no content inappropriate for any age.
Third Party Services
The app uses no third party services, SDKs or APIs other than Apple's StoreKit framework for subscription management, which is subject to Apple's own privacy policy.
Data Deletion
Since no data is stored on external servers, there is nothing to delete remotely. All local data stored on your device can be removed by deleting the app from your iPhone.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
